SOLD - Lineal Sunset Timber Side Table

$0.00
sold out

A timber side table displaying all the depths of recycled jarrah reds within one species of timber. The edges are jagged in an imperfectly perfect formation. The recycled timber sits on steel lineal legs in black. Custom designs available.

🍃The story behind the timbers are so engaging. This timber was found in a salvage yard piled upon itself unclean or dressed. It landed there from a retired woodworkers shop in Fairfield. Apparently the gentleman had been making furniture for over 50 years in the area. Sometimes it’s a gamble, but jarrah is such a stunning timber, I took it home. As I cleaned it up, the timber came to life before my eyes. The depth of reds and character of the grain was so beautiful, this side table vision evolved.

Detail

  • Size: W520mm x D410mm x H475mm

  • Recycled jarrah and messmate timbers.

  • Steel flat bar legs with cylindrical steel criss cross design, in black satin. Handmade by local Melbourne blacksmith.
