Grazing Boards

Handmade from recycled timber with locally forged steel scrolls. The varied shapes and sizes make these grazing boards perfect for entertaining, whether it’s cheese for two or a platter for twenty. The scrolled handle design creates a reversible board for carrying and displaying. All boards are individual and one-off designs.

This collection draws inspiration from soulful, heartfelt memories, embracing the charm of recycled and salvaged timbers from the past. Designs are simple and earthed. From sculptural forms to organic curves, all are a little bit artsy. Range includes: Organic Grazing Boards, Comfort Candle Holders, Moment Vessels, Occasional Cake Stands & Evermore Hangers.

Lovingly designed and handmade with care, our recycled timber side tables are crafted in my home Studio in small-batch quantities. Sourcing timbers from salvage yards, demolition factories or houses, each side table carries its own distinct character, making it as unique as the space it occupies in your home.
Macrame Wall Shelves

A wall shelf combining recycled timbers with recycled cotton, handmade in our Studio in small batch quantities. Easy to hang macrame, blending texture and warmth with natural timbers. A nichè shelf for those walls forgotten!

About Hausfits Designs Studio

Jane Haussegger is a Melbourne based Furniture Designer working with recycled timbers and sustainable materials. She embraces creativity, craftsmanship and function with every furniture or homeware design. Jane works from her home studio, making each design by hand, in small-batch quantities.

Combining the skills and design principles of both interiors and furniture allows Jane to deliver more scope and value to client’s custom designs. With longevity in mind, she supports environmental issues by reducing landfill, creating with recycled materials, supporting sustainability and collaborating with local makers.
